This is not my usual Chinese restaurant go to, but it was a pretty decent find. My mom orders from this restaurant every now and again. We ordered the Mapo tofu and cilantro beef. The tofu was served in a sweet chili, thin sauce, which packed plenty of flavor with with each bite. It was delicious. I had more mixed feelings about the cilantro beef. If you like a lot of flavor and moderate spice, then you will love this dish. I can handle mild to moderate spiciness, but I felt that this dish had way too much going on. It was just a lot of contradictory flavors, all saturated in spiciness, that was more painful than pleasant. However, my mom loved the cilantro beef, and I have to admit, it went really well with white rice.

My second visit at this restaurant. First visit was during pandemic when they just opened for to go order. This time I came for dinner while waiting for my tires get fixed. It was not busy when I arrived. You can check the menu with QR code but you have to order with the server. As there are plenty authentic chinese dishes on the menu I couldn't decide which one to order, I finally ordered Changsa noodle and chili fried chicken. The food was ready pretty quickly. One thing I didn't pay attention while ordering was the chili fried Chicken. I expected to be dark meat and it was white meat whichbis very uncommon on this type of dish as I had this dish at many restaurants and all served with dark meat. I didn't pay attention to the description of the dish. It was good but I prefer dark meat. The Changsa noodle is unique as it is cooked with a lot of egg, jalapeno and black bean. It was yummy but I feel the egg overpowering the noodle. At last about gratuity. It mentions we don't need to tip but 18% is included which is a tip. It is very misleading information. If customer doesn't need to tip then 18% mandatory charge should not be enforced. Service was just ok. When we about to leav

Extremely clean dining environment the plates are almost shiny hahaha. I appreciate the open kitchen concept and it is truly as clean as they advertise. As we were leaving they were getting close to closing time but they still let another pair of customers order and dine-in. Nice people! Really like the chili fried intestines, I can tell that they pre-braised the intestines in some five spice broth before frying it with chili, this is a level of detail that a lot of other restaurants don't have and I think it is deserving of a slightly higher price. Cilantro beef is understandably their most popular because the beef is tender but not in am overly velveted way and still tastes like beef. The ratio of cilantro and celery to beef is generous. Green been are also excellent. The food tastes home made and clean. Looking forward to trying they bread and noodle dishes next time!

Spacious, clean, big portion sizes and decent price. The food comes out very fast and it’s more of an in and out type of restaurant. Some people make reservations but we did not. You will have a lot of leftovers as well. 1 App and 2 entrees came out to be $80, no tips but 18% service charge added. The hand made noodles is really good.

This place rocked! We came because it was close to home, looked tasty, and partners with Resy. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best I've had in the Bay area. The cilantro beef, cumin lamb, and pork belly burger were particularly incredible. Of course the instagram-friendly giant scallion pancake was also great. The service was extremely fast, and the chef came out to greet us when the first dish was placed on the table. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will be back.
